Guarantee

Our guarantee

One promise, and exactly how it works. Last updated October 21, 2026.

The guarantee

If you follow our requirements for the first 3 months and your business is not in the top 3 of Google’s local map results within 1 mile of it by then, we work for free until it is.

It is the only promise we make about where you rank. Everything else we do, we report honestly, including the months a number goes down.

Which search

Your main category on Google, as a customer would type it. For a convenience store, that is "convenience store". It is the category your Google Business Profile shows first.

How it is measured

With a Local Falcon grid scan: Google is searched from 25 points spread evenly over a square reaching 1 mile north, south, east and west of your business, as if a customer were standing at each one, and we record where you appear.

The guarantee is met when your average position across all 25 points is 3 or better. Local Falcon calls this figure ATRP and prints it on the report you get. A point where you do not appear at all counts as 21, so a strong average cannot hide a part of your area where nobody can find you.

You get the map from every scan, so you can see exactly what we see.

When the 3 months start

The day you finish our setup form. The scan that decides it is the first one on or after the day the 3 months end.

What "work for free" means

If that scan does not meet the guarantee, you pay no monthly fee from month 4. We keep working, and scan again every month. The month after a scan meets the guarantee, the monthly fee starts again.

The guarantee waives monthly fees. It does not refund a payment already made.

What we need from you during the 3 months

These are the things that move a business up Google’s map, and the things we cannot do for you:

  • Make Aleris a manager on your Google Business Profile within 7 days of finishing the setup form, and keep us on it.
  • Send at least 10 real photos of your business within 7 days of finishing the setup form: the outside with your sign, the inside, the counter and what you sell. After that, send 10 new ones every month.
  • Add the keywords we recommend to your business name on Google, where Google’s rules allow it. They allow it when the keyword is part of the name you really trade under, for example on your sign, vehicles, invoices or website.
  • Keep your business name, address, phone number and hours as agreed with us, and tell us before you change any of them, or your main category, on Google.
  • Be open during the hours your profile shows.
  • Put up the review cards and sign we send within 14 days, and ask customers for reviews the way the kit shows. Never pay for a review, offer anything in return for one, or post reviews yourself or through anyone else.
  • Answer the verification calls, texts and postcards that Google, Apple Maps, Bing and Yelp send, within 7 days of us asking.
  • Reply to our questions within 3 business days.
  • Keep one Google profile for the business, linked to the website we built, and do not let another agency manage it while we do.
  • Follow Google’s rules for business profiles. For smoke, vape and liquor shops that includes no prices, deals or links to buy on the profile.
  • Pay each invoice within 14 days.

If a requirement is missed

We will tell you in writing which one, and you have 7 days to put it right. The 3 months do not stop while you do. If it is not put right, the guarantee ends for your business, and the service carries on as normal.

If your Google profile is suspended

If anything you do gets your Google profile suspended, the guarantee is void. That includes free months it has already started: the monthly fee starts again from the next month. A change we asked you to make does not count as something you did.

If Google suspends your profile by mistake, the 3 months pause on the day it is suspended and carry on from the day it is reinstated. We handle the reinstatement request with you.

What it does not cover

  • A business that customers do not visit. The guarantee is for shops whose address shows on Google; a service-area business is measured differently.
  • A move, a new business name or a new main category, unless it is a change we asked for. The 3 months start again from the change.
  • An account that is cancelled, or more than 14 days overdue.
