What we do, what it costs, and what happens if it ends. Last updatedAugust 28, 2026.
What we do
Aleris Digital Marketing builds a website for your business, sets up and manages your Google Business Profile, and sends you a report every month showing what changed. The exact page count and what is included depend on the plan you are on, which is set out on our pricing page.
What we need from you
Answers. Your site is built from what you tell us about your business, and we do not invent the parts you leave blank — a question we have no answer to becomes a section your site does not have. We also need access to your Google Business Profile, and photographs of your business if you want real ones on the site.
Paying
Plans are monthly and there is a one-off setup fee, both shown on the pricing page. The setup fee is charged when work starts. Monthly fees are invoiced in advance.
There is no minimum term. Cancel whenever you like and we will stop billing from the following month; we do not refund a month already under way.
Your domain
We register your domain name for you and hold it while we work together, because an owner who does not want to operate a DNS panel should not have to. That is a convenience, not a claim on it.
If you leave, the domain transfers to you once your account is settled. It is usually your business name, and in every sense your customers would recognise it is yours. Settled means paid up: the transfer is conditional on the account being clear, which is invoicing rather than lock-in.
What we keep is the site we built — the templates, the page structure, the code and the records in our system. Those are ours and always were.
What we promise, and what we will not
We will build the site, manage the profile, and report honestly — including in the months a number goes down.
We will not promise a position in Google's results. Nobody can. Local rankings depend partly on how far the person searching is standing from your door, and no agency changes that. Any company that promises you a specific rank is either guessing or telling you what you want to hear.
We also cannot promise how quickly pages get indexed. Google decides that, and a share of pages on any site sit unindexed indefinitely.
Things we will not do, whatever you ask
We will not write fake reviews, invent testimonials, or offer customers anything in exchange for a review — review gating is illegal under the FTC's rules, not merely against Google's policy. We will not put prices, offers or purchase links on a Google Business Profile for a tobacco, vape or alcohol business, because Google's rules forbid it and a suspended profile hurts a local business more than a bad website does. We will not send marketing texts on your behalf for those businesses, which carriers prohibit regardless of age checks.
We will not present made-up photographs as work you actually did. For a contractor, illustrations of the trade in general are fine; a portfolio of jobs that never happened is deceptive advertising.
Your content
The words and photographs you give us stay yours. You give us permission to use them to build and run your site and your profile. You confirm you have the right to give them to us — that the photos are yours to use and the claims about your business are true.
AI
We use an AI model to expand and tidy wording you have already given us. It is not allowed to introduce a fact you did not tell us: no invented prices, landmarks, services or history. We keep both versions, so what you said and what was published can always be compared.
Ending it
Either of us can end this with notice. If you leave, you get your domain once the account is settled, and a copy of the material you gave us. We may end it if an account goes unpaid, or if we are asked to do something on the list above that we will not do.
Liability
We are responsible for doing the work described here with reasonable care. We are not responsible for how Google ranks you, for a profile suspended over something you published elsewhere, or for lost business arising from either.
